On the first day of the course week we meet all participants at the meeting point Village. Subsequent meeting points are determined by the course instructor.
Always on agreement with the course instructor.
If you have a valid reason for your cancellation and you inform us at least one day prior to the lesson, it may be possible to postpone the lesson. If not, the charge will stand.
Not at first. It depends on how fast the group progresses. The village lifts will most probably be used sooner or later in the week. Best to inquire directly from the instructor.
Students are graded at the time of booking, according to the ESKIMOS ski system for adults, youngsters and minis and to the snowboard rider system. If you do not know your level or do now know how to grade yourself, we will gladly advise you.
The description of the course shows what you will learn during the week and not what is required for the course. Somebody who books for “Basic 2” already meets "Basic 1“ level, for example.
If possible you will change the group immediately. Our supervisor is always at the meeting point in the mornings to re-organise the groups and to solve any other problems.
Yes. Small groups of maximum 6 persons are part of the ESKIMOS philosophy.
In this case we open new groups in the afternoon. E.g. 12.30 - 15.00.
Only in very rare cases do we integrate advanced students into a group in the middle of the week. The small group sizes allow a fast learning process which makes it harder to catch up with the rest of the group in the middle of the week.
No. To achieve the next level you should take part during all five days. We do not give refunds if you decide not to participate every day.
Due to our limited group sizes we recommend booking online as soon as possible. It is also possible to book in person, in one of the ESKIMOS offices in Saas Fee.
No. We administrate our advance reservations very carefully, as we can only open as many groups as we have instructors available. Another good reason to book in advance.
No. This depends on the requests we get, therefore we recommend to book early.
Due to small groups the learning effect is more intense, which makes 2.5 hours an ideal time for our guests. Furthermore we are the first school on the mountain in the mornings, avoiding long queues on the lifts.
No. We teach you the required know-how to go freeriding only on marked slopes. It is highly dangerous to ride off-piste in the glacier area of Saas Fee and therefore prohibited by law.
Yes, always on Fridays. Each group makes its own decision on whether or not to take part in the ski race.
You will get a rider book, in which your instructor documents your progress and recommendation for your next course. In addition everybody gets a medal and several other very popular ESKIMOS goodies.
We always upload your pictures as fast as possible. Just follow the link photos in our main menu or just look directly under the gallery of our Facebook profile.
